8-Hour TVS Operator Licensing Course
Overview
Are you looking to qualify for your TVS Operator license? If so, you've come to the right place.
TVS Operators must complete a 8-hour TVS Operator course to apply for their license. Safe2drive's 8-Hour TVS Operator course meets this requirement.
How the Course Works
Step 1: Register.
Registration takes just a couple of minutes. Create an account with a username and password and fill out your contact info. You'll read some information about the course and make payment. That's it! You're ready to get started.
Step 2: Complete the course.
The 8-Hour TVS Operator course is broken up into short lessons full of multimedia elements (videos, self-assessments, animations and more) to keep you engaged and to help you learn the material. We'll cover everything you need to know to operate a Traffic Violator School.
Each lesson is followed by a 5-question multiple-choice quiz. You must answer 4 of the 5 questions correctly to pass. Don't worry, you're allowed unlimited retakes on the lesson quizzes and can take them again
until you pass.
At the end of the course, you will take a 50-question multiple-choice final exam. You must receive a score of at least 70% to pass. The exam is open-book, so you can look back at the course as you take it. The State of California allows you 2 attempts at the final exam.
If you fail the second attempt, the California DMV requires you to start the course over from the beginning. Safe2Drive does not charge you to retake the course if you fail the exam twice. You may also enroll in another Traffic Violator School course if you choose to do so rather than starting our course over from the beginning.
Step 3: Get your Certificate of Completion.
When you pass the final exam, we will immediately email you your Certificate of Completion. Print this out and submit it to the DMV along with your application materials as your proof that you have completed the 8-hour educational program requirement. That's it! You're done.
